Grace Mary Williams

Grace Mary Williams (1906-1977) was a pioneering Welsh composer, known for her contributions to classical music. Her work primarily falls within the genre of 20th-century classical music, and she is celebrated as the first woman to gain national recognition in this field in Wales. Williams studied at the Royal College of Music in London and later became associated with the BBC, where she composed numerous orchestral works, chamber music, and choral pieces.
